At Familywala.in, we aim to deliver fresh groceries and daily essentials quickly and reliably. However, if you face any issues with your order, this policy explains how cancellations, returns, and refunds are handled.


1. Order Cancellation

๐Ÿ”น Before Dispatch

  • You can cancel your order before it is dispatched from the store.

  • To cancel:

    • Go to My Orders

    • Select the order

    • Click Cancel Order

๐Ÿ”น After Dispatch

  • Once the order is out for delivery, cancellation may not be possible.

  • In such cases, you may refuse delivery, and applicable charges may apply.


2. Refund Eligibility

You are eligible for a refund or replacement in the following cases:

  • Wrong item delivered

  • Damaged or defective product

  • Expired product

  • Missing items in the order


3. Non-Refundable / Non-Returnable Items

Due to the nature of grocery items, the following may not be eligible for return:

  • Fresh fruits and vegetables (unless damaged or spoiled)

  • Dairy products

  • Frozen items

  • Opened or used products


4. Reporting Issues

  • All issues must be reported within 24 hours of delivery

  • You can raise a request via:

    • My Orders โ†’ Report Issue

  • Supporting images may be required for verification


5. Refund Process

  • Once approved, refunds will be processed to the original payment method

  • UPI / Wallet: 1โ€“3 business days

  • Debit/Credit Cards: 3โ€“7 business days

  • Cash on Delivery: Refund via wallet or bank transfer


6. Replacement Policy

  • Replacement is subject to product availability

  • If replacement is not possible, a full or partial refund will be issued


7. Partial Refunds

  • If only some items in your order are affected, a partial refund will be processed for those items


8. Failed or Cancelled Orders

  • If your order is canceled by Familywala.in due to:

    • Unavailability of items

    • Delivery issues

    • Payment failure

9. Refund Delays

  • Refund processing time may vary depending on your bank or payment provider

  • If you do not receive your refund within the expected time, please contact support


10. Policy Misuse

Familywala.in reserves the right to:

  • Reject refund requests in case of misuse or repeated false claims

  • Suspend accounts involved in fraudulent activities
